Current Scholarships

  • Anne Acree Memorial Scholarship:  (Deadline:  May 6, 2022)

    Scholarships are given to GHS seniors who were once students in the Geneva Head Start Program.  They are given in memory of Anne Acree who served as director of Head Start for 16 years until her death in December 2002.  It was Anne’s goal that all children should have every possible opportunity to achieve academic success.  The recipients are seniors whom the selection committee feels have demonstrated commitment to academic achievement, community service, and responsible citizenship.  Applications are available in the Counseling Office.

    Across Cultures No-Essay Scholarship

    A $1,350 scholarship for students interested in learning about other cultures, and sharing their own.  Open to all students, no essay required. The $1,350 award can be used for any travel and education related expenses.  Deadline Apr 11, 2022.

    Expand Your Horizons Scholarship

    A $2,000 scholarship to support a student with the courage to explore the world, and the kindness and openness to welcome and accept all those they meet along the way.  The $2,000 award can be used for any travel and education related expenses.  Deadline August 18, 2022.

    "$$$ Isn't Everything" Scholarship

    A monthly $550 scholarship meant to help reduce a little bit of financial worry for a new student or graduate each month, and to help someone get a bit of time back to focus on the important things in life.  Open to all students.  No essay required.  The scholarship is awarded at the end of every month and there is a deadline at the end of each month.

    Keep Going Forward No-Essay Scholarship

    A $500 scholarship open to any student going through a change or new challenge in life.  Open to all students. No essay required.  Deadline December 31, 2021.

  • National Co-Op Scholarship Program:  (various deadlines)

    160 Merit Co-op Scholarships totaling $4.2 million are available through the WACE Advancing Cooperative & Work-Integrated Education program.  You must have applied to one or more of the following WACE Partner institutions:  Clarkson University, Drexel University, Johnson & Wales University, Merrimack College, Rochester Institute of Technology, SUNY Oswego, The University of Toledo, University of Cincinnati, and/or Wentworth Institute of Technology.  For complete instructions and to apply, please visit
