  • Ballot Instructions

    (1)  Ballot may be marked with a pen or pencil. (2) To vote on the ballot, make a single cross “X” mark or a single check “√” mark in the voting square.  (3) Any erasure or mark in a voting square other than a single cross “X” mark or a single check “√” mark will render the ballot blank as to that item. (4) Any mark or erasure outside of a voting square and any defacing or tearing of the ballot is unlawful, and will render the entire ballot void. (5) If you mark the ballot wrongly, or erase anything on it or tear or deface it, return it to the clerk for a new ballot.

     

    School Budget Vote

    RESOLVED, that the Board of Education upon the recommendation of the Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent for Administrative Services, Director of Business and Finance and the Finance/Audit Committee, adopt the 2019-2020 Geneva City School District Budget in the amount of $56,592,114 and the amount of the Tax Levy to be established at $20,091,313, and is authorized to levy the necessary tax therefor.

    Proposition #2: Bus Acquisition

    Shall the bond resolution adopted by the Board of Education of the City School District of the City of Geneva, New York, dated March 11, 2019, authorizing the acquisition of three (3) large school buses, at an estimated maximum cost of $118,967.70 each, three (3) large school buses, at an estimated maximum cost of $121,820.94 each and two (2) small school buses, at an estimated maximum cost of $61,641.73, all at an estimated maximum aggregate cost of $845,649.38, less trade-in value, if any; the levy of a tax to be collected in annual installments therefor; and, if the proposition for the approval of such bond resolution shall have been approved by at least a sixty percent vote, the issuance of debt obligations of the School District as may be necessary, not to exceed $845,649.38, may be issued in excess of the constitutional debt limit of the School District pursuant to applicable law, all be approved?
