  • Will breakfast and lunch be available to students learning remotely?

    Posted by:

For students that will not be in attendance at school every day, either because they are 100% virtual or because they are on a hybrid model, meal pickup will occur at a designated place in every building that is having remote learning. For the elementary schools, pickup will be between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the building they normally attend. For secondary schools, pickup will be between 10:45 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. at the building they normally attend.

Special Areas & Recess

  • Will classes like art, music and physical education still be available?

    Posted by:

The district knows how important special area courses are to your child’s development and will continue to offer those courses; however, accommodations will need to be made to maintain appropriate social distancing (eg., students in chorus and PE must be 12 feet apart, students in art—or any other class—are not allowed to share materials). The district will work creatively with teachers to offer these courses in a safe environment.
