Hello Geneva, it is with great honor that I serve as your Geneva Middle School principal. I say with full confidence that there is not another school or district I would want to serve than that of Geneva. I am committed to the community, teachers, and students of the Geneva City School District (GCSD). We will accomplish great things together!

Originally from Syracuse, I taught high school and middle school social studies in the Syracuse City School District at Fowler High School and Grant Middle School. I come to Geneva with a unique set of teaching experiences. Having been identified as an innovative teacher in my past district, I have been afforded the opportunity to have my classroom serve as a model classroom, travel to various conferences, and provide professional learning to hundreds of teachers. I bring that same passion for innovative practices and a creative approach to education in my leadership role. 

I came to the GCSD as a personalized learning instructional coach and served in that role for two years before entering into my leadership journey. Although still relatively new to GCSD, I quickly felt at home with the staff and students here. Building relationships is a key component of my leadership style, and I hope to build upon those with all of you over the years. 

I come from a family of educators. My wife is also a teacher, serving as an education professor at Roberts Wesleyan University. We have three children, a son and twin daughters, and I can't leave out our dog, Glenn Curtiss. 

We are going to accomplish great things at GMS. Take care of each other and go Panthers!
