Pre-AP World History
The Pre-AP World History course is designed to examine the first half of world history. We will begin in 8000 B.C.E. and travel all the way to 1450. Due to time constraints and the massive amount of content that must be covered in one year, this is an extremely rigorous course. We will argue, examine documents, analyze, synthesize, critique, and so much more! Furthermore, you will be reading not only from your textbook, but also two novels throughout the course of the school year. Additionally, this course is writing intensive. The AP Examination requires you to write three essays; Comparative, Change-Over-Time, and Document-Based. It is essential that you do not fall behind.
