• West Street School PAWS Night is an afterschool program for students and families on Tuesdays from 5 to 7 p.m. Children must be accompanied by an adult. PAWS Night activities focus on health and wellness, academic and technology connections, family connections and homework support. Special workshops using technology, literacy and math games, and game time in the gym are just some of the activities offered.

Community partnerships have grown through PAWS Night, providing enrichment opportunities such as extending existing opportunities like 4-H Clubs, Hobart and William Smith student mentors, Health and Wellness workshops and Math Madness. Many regularly scheduled activities like Geneva Family and School Association Meetings or Head Start Parent Night are held on these nights, which means regular childcare is provided for families attending these sessions.

Parents should look for current information regarding the program offerings each month. We hope to see many families take advantage of these wonderful opportunities as we move towards creating the shared experiences reflected in our Geneva City School District mission statement. PAWS Night is made possible through a federal Violence Prevention Grant and the Wyckoff Family Foundation.
