At Geneva Middle School, you will have many new experiences, many different teachers and a variety of academic challenges, which we hope you will enjoy. In middle school, it is important to have someone you can go to if you have questions, problems or just want to talk. Most often one or both of your parents will be the adults that you seek out. Frequently, it will be one of your teachers, and in many cases, it will be someone in the counseling center.

There are two school counselors, a speech therapist, a school psychologist, a school social worker and a home school advisor in the counseling center. We are all here to help you and want to get to know you. You can stop us in the hall, come in to make an appointment or drop us a note. Teachers, administrators and parents might also bring us a concern about you. We’ll respond as soon as possible to any request for help.

A guidance plan is on file in the district office and can be reviewed by contacting Tracy Marchionda, Director of Innovation and Multilanguage Learners, at tmarchionda@genevacsd.org or (315) 781-0400 ext. 1400.
