The Office of Innovation and Multilanguage Learners has programmatic and administrative responsibility for English as a Second Language, World Language Initiative, Central Registration and new district initiatives.

World Language Initiative
The Geneva City School District is currently expanding language instruction to all students in grades Pre-K through 12(sup>th grade. Mrs. Marchionda oversees this initiative. The current languages offered to our students are:
- PreK-fifth grade: Mandarin Chinese
- Sixth grade–eighth grade: Spanish and French
- Ninth grade–12th grade: Spanish, French and Latin
Plans to expand the languages offered and to offer languages to our sixth grade students are underway.
