SUBJECT: RELATIONS WITH THE FIRE DEPARTMENT
 

         Every effort shall be made by all school personnel to maintain optimum conditions in and around school buildings in order to reduce or eliminate fire hazards.

         It shall be a direct violation of School Board policy for any individual to cause a fire alarm to be sounded without the express permission of the building principal unless there is a fire in a building.  Any violation of this policy may result in suspension and/or prosecution.
