SUBJECT: SENIOR CITIZENS

The Board of Education will consider school related programs for senior citizens in accordance with Education Law and/or regulations of the Commissioner of Education. Such programs include special use of school buses, school lunches and partial tax exemptions. 

Senior Citizens’ Complimentary Admission to School Activities
 

         The Geneva Board of Education provides various activities in the realm of community spirit which encourage the development of comprehensive and coordinated services that may be educational, recreational, or social in nature for all people in the community.

         In the spirit of appreciation for the many services that have been rendered by the senior citizen population of our city, senior citizens, 62 years of age or older, will be admitted free to any and all activities which are functions of the Geneva City School District.
