SUBJECT: BUS ACCIDENTS
 

         Although all necessary and required precautions are taken in accordance with existing laws, the possibility of accidents cannot be entirely eliminated.  In the event of a school bus accident, the contractor, his/her employees and school officials will act in accordance with the immediate needs of children.  The Superintendent of Schools will develop specific regulations governing procedures on the occasion of an accident, including the following:

  1. On-site personnel
  2. Emergency communications
  3. Medical provisions
  4. Follow-up and reporting
