Non-resident families who wish to enroll children in the School System shall submit a request in writing to the Superintendent, who shall determine whether or not the student(s) will be admitted. The Superintendent will also determine which building the student will attend.
Seniors whose parents or guardians move from the District after February 1 of a year will be permitted to attend on a non-tuition basis until the end of the school year during which the move occurs.
Non-resident families must provide their own transportation.
Tuition will be charged to families of non-resident students as set by the Board in accordance with a formula established by the Commissioner of Education.
Tuition Reduction for Children of Full-Time District Employees
The Board of Education understands that there are employees in the district that do not live within the district and desire to have their children attend the Geneva City School District.
Full-time employees of the District who wish to enroll their children as non-resident students at the Geneva City School District must submit a request in writing to the Superintendent by April 1st of the preceding year. The superintendent will determine whether or not the student(s) will be admitted. The employee/parent will receive a $13,500 tuition reduction and will be responsible for the balance. All applications must be completed, submitted and approved on an annual basis.
