The district's Public Relations Office produces all district-wide publications, including a quarterly newsletter, calendar, brochure, press releases and more. Website design and posts are also handled by this office, as are district social media pages and oversight of school social media pages.

In an effort to showcase the many accomplishments of our students, the district allows student photos, video, audio and other information (name, grade level, teacher, school, honor roll, awards, art work, statements, etc.) to be used for these and other school publications, as well as district-sanctioned publications. Parents and guardians may choose to opt out of the use of this information by completing a Directory Opt Out Form and returning it to the student’s school office. The Directory Opt Out Form is also available in Spanish. To obtain a copy of these forms, stop by your school office or submit an Opt Out request form.
The release of Directory Information is governed by FERPA. (For more information about FERPA, please see your school calendar).
News Media Interviews
We occasionally allow the news media to attend and photograph school events. Parents and guardians may deny media access to their child by completing a Media Opt Out Form and returning it to the student’s school office. The Media Opt Out Form is also available in Spanish. These forms are available at your school office or fill out an Opt Out request form.
Both of these Opt Out forms must be submitted by Sept. 15 every school year.
