The Geneva City School District believes that one of the most important ways we can help our children perform better in the classroom is to provide them with the nutrition necessary for the healthy growth of their minds and bodies. We are pleased to announce that through June 30, 2025, breakfast and lunch for all students, kindergarten through 12th grade will be free to all students at the Geneva City School District through the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Community Eligibility Program (CEP), regardless of income.

  • Certification letters

If you receive a Certification letter from the New York State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance please send it to the School Nutrition Office, located at 335 Gambee Road, Geneva. Free and reduced meal applications will not be sent to homes this year. However, we will be sending households that do not have children who automatically qualify for SNAP, Medicaid, are homeless or migrants a Household Information Form. Please complete this and return it to the above address. It is extremely important that parents return the completed household information form after it is received home. Unreturned forms could result in the loss of the free lunch program and other benefits to students.

    Meal Payment

The district uses the mySchoolBucks online meals prepayment system, where parents can prepay for their children’s al la carte purchases of second meals, beverages and healthy snacks at their convenience. The website also gives parents the ability to monitor what their children eat and, most importantly, receive low balance notices for their children’s accounts so that their children do not run out of money. To access your child’s account simply go to www.myschoolbucks.com. You will need your child’s identification number to open their online account. If your child does not remember their ID number, please call the Office of School Nutrition at (315) 781-4132 and we can provide that information to you.
