NSS welcomes new assistant principal

The Geneva City School District welcomed a new North Street School assistant principal in January.
Julie Ricciuto was appointed to the post at the December board of education meeting. Ms. Ricciuto was an assistant principal in the Rochester City School District and holds a School Building Leader certification and a Certificate in Educational Leadership from the Warner School of Education in Rochester. She replaces Luke Wilson, who left the district in November.
“We look forward to welcoming Ms. Ricciuto to our team in the New Year,” said Superintendent Bo Wright.
Ms. Ricciuto has 10 years’ experience as an elementary school teacher at schools in Rochester. She is also certified in childhood education and literacy education and holds a Master of Science in Literacy Education, a Bachelor of Science in Childhood Education, and a Bachelor of Science in Special Education, all from St. John Fisher College, Rochester. She also was a New York State Master Teacher, Finger Lakes Region.
