Join us in saying goodbye and thank you to our leader!

A MESSAGE FROM SUPERINTENDENT NEWTON

Dear staff, community & friends,

My sincerest thanks to all of you for your support during my tenure as superintendent. Because of you, we were able to accomplish so much for the children of Geneva.

There are more goals to be reached and difficult days ahead, to be sure, but our students are better placed to face them thanks to the hard work and dedication of our teachers, support staff, and administrators.

Although today I begin a new chapter in my life, I will forever carry this community in my heart. I know you will continue to fight for what is right for Geneva City School District children.

I would also like to thank the students, themselves. They were at the core of every decision I made in the last eight and a half years, and their smiling, hopeful faces saw me through many a challenge. Geneva is truly blessed to have such a diverse and wonderful student body.

Goodbye, friends, and thank you for the opportunity to serve. I will miss all of you!

Regards,

Trina S. Newton
Superintendent of Schools
