Students in Kristina Mastrangelo-Gasowski’s Geneva Middle School English class discussed personal accountability and civic responsibility with guest speaker Danielle Wild, Esq. Ms. Wild, a Rochester-based attorney, shared stories of her clients’ experiences with action and unintended consequence. The conversation tied closely to texts the students are reading, explained Mrs. Mastrangelo-Gasowski, adding, “ I also believe it will send a powerful message around bullying and other individual acts that affect society in general.”
Ms. Wild discussed some of her young clients' brushes with the law, including cases of petty larceny and underage drinking.
